Here you can give in adoption your old characters, or adopt characters from other people. Once you give a character in adoption, the character in question no longer belongs to you, but to the person that adopted it, and they can use it in any way. Please understand this before submitting characters.

I've actually been online here for quite a while, but Iv'e never bothered to look at clubs. what exactly are they on here?

Clubs can be for all sorts of things, from fan places of a certain character to monthly theme based contests.
Adopt-A-Character is a club where people can send in their no longer wanted/needed/etc characters for other members of the club to adopt and have as their own character.
FAQ #673: How can I make a club or group? and FAQ #216: Are there any rules for accounts being used as clubs or 'group' accounts? might also give you the information you desire.
